Deidara yawned and slowly opened his eyes, drowsily sitting up to stretch. Suddenly he was completely awake, realizing what day it was. February 14th. Valentines day.
The blond glanced over, his mood dropping dramatically to see that instead of his boyfriend asleep beside him, there was a note.
He picked it up and read it over, sighing. Sasori must have forgotten what today was.
It read- 'Dei, I got called into work today. I'll see you when you get home from school. <3'
Deidara sadly got up and got ready for school. He was in year twelve, his last year. Sasori had already been out of school for a few years.
"I have to work after school... I was going to just ditch both school and work for today and just hang out with you, Danna..." He sighed.
The day past slowly, the blond sadly watching chocolates and roses pass hands, lips meet, relationships blossom.
Work was just as bad but at least he knew he didn't have as long to see his love.
When Deidara got home and opened the door, Sasori wasn't there to greet him. Instead though, there was a trail of rose petals leading through the house into the dining room. A gasp of surprise left him. The table was set up so perfectly, food already served for the both of them. Sasori was seated but he got up and went over to hug Deidara as he entered.
"Sorry about this morning." He murmured as he kissed his neck. "Let me make it up to you, my love."
The blond shivered and smiled before hugging him back tightly. "Thanks for this."
"No need to thank me. Now, I'm sure you're hungry after work so sit down and enjoy."
After they ate, Deidara found yet another surprise in the bathroom. A very romantically set up, rose petals floating on the water of their double bath, candles lit all around. As they bathed together, Sasori gave the younger a back massage with some special lotions.
After that was to the bedroom. There was even more rose petals there, as well as a dozen full roses on the bed.
"It's beautiful." Deidara smiled.
"Not nearly as beautiful as you." Sasori cooed in reply, pulling him towards the bed.
The other giggled and blushed, throwing his arms around him and throwing them both into the bed.
"Happy Valentines day. I love you, Dei." Sasori smiled and licked the shell of his ear.
"I love you too, Danna."

It's short and not that good cause I wrote it in any spare time I had on the 13th. And I know Valentines day was yesterday but my dA was stuffing up.
